Cosmic Web Viewed by Researchers For First Time.

The Cosmic Web is the Edge of Space. It is an enormous structure that keeps together the far away galaxies and it has been observed for the first time by Science Researchers at the European Southern Observatory’s Very Large Telescope using the Multi Unit Spectroscopic Explorer (MUSE) in Chile ( www.eso.com)

Images were taken from a distant galactic cluster called SSA22 , the images show light emitted by hydrogen irradiated by the galaxies within the cluster field. The images atrieved are of our universe at 2 billion years old, it is now theorized that the Universe maybe over 13 billion years old.

The Cosmic Web Large Scale Structure was revealed decades ago. In 2012 an artists rendition of the Cosmic Web shows the edge of space and it’s web that keeps the far out galaxies within.
